 Rate valid as of November 3, 2008.  This is a limited time offer which may be withdrawn at any time.  The interest rate of the Option CDs is 4.46% with an annual percentage yield (APY) of 4.55%.  This offer is only available at Old Southern Bank's offices in Orange, Seminole and Lake Counties, Florida.  Account requires $1,000.00 minimum balance to open and a substantial penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal in excess of one half of the principal balance.   Accounts with balances in excess of $1,000,000.00 may be subject to a reduced rate.  If Old Southern Bank's 36 or 42 month CD interest rate should exceed 4.46% during the original term of the Option CD, the customer may elect a one time option to receive the higher rate without having to extend the maturity date (this is considered a variable rate account due to this feature).
